Everything we sell is an instant digital download. Once the files are delivered, they cannot be returned, so all sales are final.

That said, we are a small shop run by a pastor, and we would rather have a satisfied customer than a kept $59. If something is wrong with your purchase, email help@decentandordered.com and we will make it right — by fixing the file, sending the right one, or refunding you.

Our products are editable Word and Excel files delivered to you immediately after checkout. There is no way for you to give them back and no way for us to un-deliver them. That is the standard practice for instant digital goods, and it is the reason we describe every product in detail, list every file included, and publish preview images before you buy. Please read the product page carefully before purchasing.

We will issue a full refund, promptly and without argument, in any of these cases:

• The files never arrived, and we cannot get a working download link to you.
• A file is corrupted, incomplete, or will not open, and we cannot supply a working replacement.
• You received the wrong product.
• You were charged more than once for the same order, or were charged in error.
• The product is materially different from what the product page described.

Contact us within 30 days of purchase for any of the above.

• You bought it, downloaded it, and simply changed your mind.
• You decided the material does not match your church's polity or convictions. We describe the theological positions and the built-in options openly on the product page, and the Congregational FAQ and Implementation Guide explain them further. Please read those before buying.
• You expected legal advice. Our products are educational resources, clearly labeled as such, and are not a substitute for an attorney licensed in your state.
• You bought the same product twice by mistake and did not tell us. Tell us, and we will refund the duplicate.

These are our general practices, not hard rules. If you have a situation that does not fit neatly, write to us and explain it. We will listen.

Email help@decentandordered.com with:

1. The email address you used at checkout
2. Your order number, which is in your receipt
3. A sentence or two about what went wrong

We reply to every message within two business days and aim to resolve refund requests within five business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for all of our sales. They process payments, collect and remit sales tax and VAT, and issue refunds on our behalf. "Lemon Squeezy" is what appears on your card statement.

You may contact either us or Lemon Squeezy about a refund. Writing to us first is usually faster, and we would like the chance to fix the problem. Lemon Squeezy also reserves the right to issue a refund independently within 60 days of purchase in order to resolve a payment dispute.

Please talk to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refund, takes weeks to resolve, and almost always started as something we would have fixed in a day. We have never refused a reasonable request.

If we refund a purchase, your license to use the materials ends. We ask that you delete the files and stop using them in your church.

We may update this policy. The version in effect on the date of your purchase is the one that applies to your order.
