Decently and In Order A project of Well Ordered Resources LLC

Effective date: August 6, 2026 Last updated: August 6, 2026

1. Who we are

This website, decentandordered.com (the "Site"), and the products sold through it are operated by Well Ordered Resources LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Missouri, doing business as Decently and In Order ("we," "us," or "our").

You can reach us at help@decentandordered.com.

2. Agreement to these terms

By accessing the Site, purchasing a product, or downloading any file we provide, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase our products.

If you are buying on behalf of a church, ministry, nonprofit, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms on that organization's behalf.

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase.

3. What we sell

We publish digital, downloadable resources for church administration and governance: editable Microsoft Word documents, Microsoft Excel workbooks, written guides, letter templates, checklists, and similar materials.

All products are delivered electronically as instant downloads. We do not sell physical goods, subscriptions, or professional services. No printed materials are shipped.

Products are one-time purchases. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice, though a change in price will never affect an order already placed.

4. Payment and merchant of record

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for every order. This means Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, sales tax and VAT collection and remittance, and invoicing on our behalf.

Because of this:

  • Lemon Squeezy, not Well Ordered Resources LLC, will appear on your card or bank statement.
  • Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms, available at lemonsqueezy.com/buyer-terms.
  • Applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and added at checkout based on your location.

We never see or store your full payment card details.

5. Delivery

After your payment is approved, you will receive an email receipt containing a secure download link. The link is also shown on the confirmation page immediately after checkout.

Delivery is normally instantaneous. If you have not received your download within one hour of purchase, please check your spam folder first, then email help@decentandordered.com and we will resend it.

Download links may expire or be limited in the number of uses for security reasons. If your link has expired, contact us and we will issue a new one at no charge.

6. Your license to use our products

When you purchase a product, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable single-organization license.

You may:

  • Use the materials for the internal purposes of the one church, ministry, or organization that purchased them.
  • Edit, adapt, rename, and rewrite the documents to fit your own polity, bylaws, and convictions.
  • Print and reproduce the letters, handouts, and forms for distribution to your own members, officers, staff, and legal counsel.
  • Keep and use the files indefinitely, including after any future price change or product update.

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the files, in original or edited form, to anyone outside your organization.
  • Share the files with another church, association, denomination, or network, or post them on any public or shared drive, website, forum, or file-sharing service.
  • Repackage the materials, in whole or in substantial part, into a product, course, template, or consulting deliverable that you offer to others, whether for a fee or for free.
  • Use the materials to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop a machine learning or artificial intelligence system.
  • Remove or obscure copyright notices, license language, or attribution contained in the files.

If you need a license covering more than one congregation, such as for an association, network, denominational office, or consulting practice, email us and we will arrange appropriate terms.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site and in our products, including text, document structure, guides, letters, spreadsheets, logos, and the Decently and In Order name and plumb-line mark, is the property of Well Ordered Resources LLC and is protected by United States and international copyright and trademark law.

The license in Section 6 is the only right granted to you. All other rights are reserved.

8. Educational resource, not legal advice

This is important, so we state it plainly.

Our products are educational and administrative resources. They are not legal advice, and purchasing or using them does not create an attorney-client relationship, a pastoral relationship, or any professional advisory relationship between you and us.

Church membership, church discipline, employment, privacy, defamation, and nonprofit governance law vary by state and country, and depend on your specific facts and your own governing documents. Our materials are written to be broadly adaptable, not to be correct for every jurisdiction or every situation.

Before adopting, sending, or acting on any document from our products, you should:

  • Have it reviewed by an attorney licensed in your state.
  • Confirm it is consistent with your church's own constitution, bylaws, and adopted procedures.
  • Follow your own governing documents wherever they differ from ours.

You are solely responsible for how you use, adapt, and act on these materials, and for the decisions your church makes.

9. Mandatory reporting

Nothing in our products should be read as advising you to withhold a report that the law requires you to make. Where you have reason to believe a child or vulnerable adult has been abused or neglected, report it to civil authorities as required by the law of your jurisdiction, promptly and independently of any internal church process.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Our products and the Site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the materials will be error-free, complete, current, suitable for your jurisdiction, or that they will produce any particular outcome for your church.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Well Ordered Resources LLC and its members, officers, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, goodwill, data, or reputation, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our products.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or our products will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the product giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Well Ordered Resources LLC and its members, officers, contractors, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use or adaptation of our products, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

13. Refunds

Our refund policy is set out on a separate page and is incorporated into these terms by reference. See decentandordered.com/refund-policy.

14. Acceptable use of the Site

You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems, interfere with its operation, scrape or harvest content, circumvent download or license protections, or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

15. Third-party links

The Site and our products may link to third-party websites and resources. We provide those links for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

16. Privacy

Information you give us is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Payment and tax information is collected and held by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record under its own privacy policy.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted on this page. Changes apply going forward only, and do not affect the license attached to a product you have already purchased.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or our products will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cass County, Missouri, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Before filing any claim, you agree to first email us at help@decentandordered.com and give us 30 days to resolve the matter informally. Most problems can be fixed with a short conversation.

19. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

These terms, together with our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and our products.
